music features talent management company i.e.: entertainment

ie:music, a pioneering entertainment, management and media company, is said to have launched ie:entertainment.

As a multi-genre talent management and production company i.e.: Entertainment will be dedicated to the production, creation and distribution of unscripted and scripted content across theatrical formats, television and digital. The new company is also led by executives, namely Tim Clark, co-founder and president; and Lucy Pullin, co-founder and creative director; with Nina Parnaby as COO.

The company’s March 2022 launch came shortly after ie:music’s recent collaboration with director Tara Films on Shuhada Sadaqat’s documentary, also known as Sinead O’Connor’s Nothing Compares.

The documentary premiered at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival before it was acquired by Showtime for broadcast and theatrical release in fall 2022.

For the uninitiated, ie:music launched ie:ventures, its investment arm in 2020. The company’s first investment was notably in the music creation app Endlesss.FM, which closed a funding round in 2019.

Additionally, the media company has received investment from a range of high-profile executives, such as Richard Jones, director of Pixies; Dhiraj Mukherjee, co-founder of Shazam; and Mathew Daniel, international vice president at NetEase Cloud Music; among others.

In line with the statement made by Tim Clark, the company is delighted to extend the ie:enterprise brand with the latest launch of ie:entertainment. Through the new brand, he is committed to creating films and creating content that resonates with the roster of artists.

According to Lucy Pullin, the recent launch of ie:entertainment came at a seemingly golden age for movie entertainment. It’s also a better time to own, create and invest in UK creative content for audiences around the world. In 2021, the company also began developing a slate of unscripted and scripted content, theater shows, podcasts, and a talent slate.
